The Houston Texans secured a pivotal 34-31 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium, a win that has reinvigorated the franchise’s confidence under quarterback C.J. Stroud. The decisive moment arrived with 1:04 remaining, when Stroud executed a pre-snap adjustment on a third-and-2 from the Houston 40. By signaling running back Woody Marks to execute a quick jab step left before crossing right, Stroud created separation against linebacker Branson Combs. This tactical tweak allowed Marks to find the right sideline wide open, resulting in a 19-yard gain that pushed the Texans into Jaguars territory and set the stage for the game-clinching drive.
