The Abu Dhabi T10 League kicks off its 2026 season on Saturday, November 7, marking a significant structural shift as the Abu Dhabi Cricket and Sports Hub assumes full ownership and operational control of the tournament. This new administration has introduced five fresh franchise owners, expanding the competition to six teams that will battle for the title over 13 playing days. All 32 matches will be hosted at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi, with the high-octane schedule culminating in the championship final on November 20. The league stage format requires each squad to face the other five teams twice, with the top three finishers advancing to the decisive playoffs.
Six new franchises and a 32-match sprint define the 2026 T10 era at Zayed Cricket Stadium.
Defending champions UAE Bulls enter the contest with a formidable lineup led by Kieron Pollard, who is supported by power-hitters Sunil Narine and fast-bowler Mohammad Amir. While the Bulls aim for back-to-back glory, the Arabian Aces present a serious challenge under the captaincy of Moeen Ali. The Aces squad features a star-studded array of talent, including Nicholas Pooran, Andre Russell, and Trent Boult, ensuring high-intensity matchups throughout the tournament. Additionally, the league benefits from the inclusion of key UAE internationals such as Muhammad Waseem, Alishan Sharafu, and Mohammad Rohid, who add local depth to the global mix of players.
Fan engagement is set to reach new heights as the league integrates a fresh visual identity alongside its expanded roster. The complete schedule spans from November 7 to November 20, offering daily cricket action that blends strategic depth with the explosive nature of T10 cricket. As the top three teams secure playoff berths, the competition promises to be tighter than ever, with every match critical for progression. Cricket enthusiasts should mark their calendars for the opening weekend, where the new franchise dynamics will first be tested on the field.
