The New Orleans Pelicans secured a decisive 120-113 overtime victory over the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night, snapping a four-game losing streak with their fourth consecutive win. Zion Williamson delivered a second-half surge, scoring all 23 of his points after halftime to help New Orleans overcome a 13-point deficit late in the third quarter. The Pelicans’ resilience was further highlighted by Saddiq Bey’s clutch performance, as he closed out his 22-point game with six straight points in the final minutes of overtime to seal the win.

Utah’s Keyonte George led the Jazz with a career-high 39 points, hitting consecutive three-pointers in the first minute of overtime to give Utah a 110-104 lead. However, the Pelicans responded with a 14-3 run, capped by Bey’s off-balance 15-footer that rolled around the rim to make it 116-112 with 39 seconds remaining. The Jazz, who lost their sixth straight game, have only one win this season, which came against New Orleans earlier in the year, while Lauri Markkanen added 21 points and 10 rebounds for Utah.

New Orleans also received significant contributions from returning star Dejounte Murray, who scored 20 points in his return from a three-game absence following the birth of his child. Derik Queen provided a spark with 20 points, 14 of which came in the fourth quarter, while the team managed the game without Trey Murphy III due to knee soreness. This victory marks a pivotal turnaround for the Pelicans, who have now won four straight games after starting the season with four losses.
