Rohit Sharma is set to return to domestic cricket this winter, with the India star having informed Mumbai that he will turn out in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in December.

The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has already been given the message, although the number of games he will play is still to be decided.
According to The Indian Express, Rohit will link up with the squad only after India’s home ODI series against Sri Lanka, which runs from December 13 to 19. The three matches will be held in Delhi, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad, and the first of them takes place a day before the domestic tournament begins.
