Chase Briscoe secured the pole position for the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race at Homestead-Miami Speedway, clocking a blistering 32.396-second lap to claim the top starting slot. The Hendrick Motorsports driver narrowly defeated Denny Hamlin, who posted a time just a few hundredths of a second slower to settle for second place. Briscoe’s dominant qualifying effort sets the stage for a high-stakes finale, giving him the strategic advantage of leading the field off the line in one of the most critical races of the season.

The championship picture remains tightly contested among the top qualifiers, with points leader Kyle Larson starting third and Norman, Oklahoma native Christopher Bell positioned in sixth. Hamlin, starting second, joins Larson and Bell as the primary challengers in the final round of the playoffs. This front-row alignment creates immediate tension for the race, as the top three contenders will be battling for track position from the green flag, potentially dictating the pace and strategy for the remainder of the field.
