Jon Rahm delivered a masterclass at Yas Links, claiming his 11th DP World Tour title and sixth Rolex Series event in his first start since the collapse of LIV Golf. The Spaniard finished at 23 under par, securing a two-shot victory over Tyrrell Hatton and four clear of Rory McIlroy. Rahm’s performance was defined by consistency, as he carded four rounds in the 60s to dominate the field.

The turning point came on the 15th hole, where Rahm struck a 6-iron from 184 yards that landed two feet from the cup. The precise shot secured a crucial birdie and propelled him to the lead on a day of near-flawless execution. This win marks a dramatic turnaround for Rahm, who had previously finished last in his recent DP World Tour appearances before this event.
“It means a lot,” Rahm said, reflecting on his resurgence. “Still almost not letting myself believe it… from last to first, pretty good feeling.” The victory also boosted his standing in the Race to Dubai, moving him to sixth place with the season-long winner to be crowned next week. Eugenio Chacarra currently leads the standings, holding a 500-point advantage over McIlroy.
