Key Match Highlights & Tactical Analysis
Kordell’s athletic prowess extends to the track, where she claimed the 2025 Heritage Conference championship title. She currently holds the program record in the 300-meter hurdles and served as an alternate on the 400-meter relay team during the 2025 Shippensburg meet. This multi-sport dominance highlights her exceptional conditioning and competitive drive, allowing her to maintain high-level performance across different seasons and disciplines.
Conemaugh Township girls soccer coach Alexa Fetterman praised Kordell’s relentless work ethic and fearless leadership. “Mayce is one of our fearless leaders and without a doubt one of the most competitive players on the team,” Fetterman stated. “She is never afraid to battle people on the field, regardless of their size, speed, or willingness to battle back. Her perseverance and willingness to win the ball and find the back of the net make her a special player. When Mayce steps onto the field we never have to wonder what level of effort we are going to get. It is always 100%.” Off the field, Kordell is an avid reader of “The Five People You Meet in Heaven” by Mitch Albom and credits Ms. Gall, her business, computer, and information technology teacher, as a key influence.
