The Dons’ depth proved crucial as they extended their margin in the second half, outscoring the Highlanders (0-1) by seven points. Ismaila Diagne provided a powerful inside presence with 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Gustav Knudsen added 13 points on efficient 5-for-10 shooting. On the other side of the ball, Radford struggled to contain the Dons’ pace, with Frederik Erichsen leading the Highlanders in scoring with 12 points and seven rebounds. Mathieu Grujicic contributed 11 points, and Ja’Corey Robinson added 10 points and five assists, but the team could not overcome San Francisco’s consistent execution. The Dons return to action Friday against North Dakota State at home, while Radford travels to face Cal on Wednesday.
