Bo Van Pelt has officially finalized his 2026 “What’s In The Bag” (WITB) lineup, revealing a strategic mix of Callaway, Srixon, and Cleveland equipment ahead of the intense fall swing. Announced on November 1, the veteran’s new setup was confirmed by GolfWRX with detailed in-hand photos that verify every shaft and clubhead specification. This precise configuration reflects a calculated approach to navigating the PGA Tour’s latest course designs, prioritizing stability and distance control over raw power.
Key Match Highlights & Tactical Analysis
The centerpiece of Van Pelt’s long-game arsenal is the Callaway Quantum Max driver, set at 9 degrees and paired with a Fujikura Ventus Black 6 X shaft to maximize stability off the tee. For shorter tee shots, he utilizes a Cobra King TEC-MD mini driver at 13 degrees with a Fujikura Ventus Blue 7 X shaft, while fairway duties are handled by a Ping G440 Max at 21 degrees fitted with a heavier Fujikura Ventus Black 8 X shaft. GolfWRX analysis highlights that these specific loft and shaft combinations are critical for maintaining optimal trajectory and spin rates on longer holes, ensuring consistent ball flight in varying wind conditions.
On the approach side, Van Pelt leans heavily on Srixon technology, carrying ZXi5 irons for the 5-iron slot and ZXi7 models for the 6-iron through the wedge range. This hybrid iron strategy allows for greater workability on mid-irons while providing the precision and feel required for short-game execution. By locking in this blend of modern driver technology and specialized Srixon irons, Van Pelt aims to capitalize on his veteran experience, leveraging a tailored setup to compete effectively as the 2026 season progresses.
