Arsenal have initiated urgent discussions with Real Madrid regarding a potential January transfer for Brazilian forward Endrick, according to TEAMtalk. The 20-year-old has been left on the fringes of Jose Mourinho’s plans, starting just one La Liga match this season despite the manager’s public confidence in his long-term potential. With limited opportunities at the Santiago Bernabeu, Endrick’s representatives are actively exploring alternative pathways to secure regular first-team football, making north London an attractive destination for a fresh start.
Gunners seek loan with buy option as Brazilian struggles for minutes under Mourinho.
Mikel Arteta’s side are reportedly prepared to structure the deal as a loan with an option to buy, a move designed to mitigate financial risk while securing the young striker’s services. However, this clause represents a significant sticking point in negotiations, as Los Blancos remain reluctant to concede a permanent exit for a highly rated asset they view as a core part of their future. Real Madrid’s preference for a straightforward loan agreement without a guaranteed purchase option creates a tactical impasse that both clubs must navigate before the winter window closes.
The potential swoop signals Arsenal’s commitment to bolstering their attacking depth with elite youth talent, leveraging Endrick’s raw pace and finishing ability to challenge for the Premier League title. While Mourinho insists the forward should remain in Madrid to develop, the lack of playing time has accelerated the Brazilian’s desire for a move. If Arsenal can bridge the gap on the buy option, they would secure a transformative addition to their squad, addressing a key weakness in their forward line while offering Endrick the platform to become a global star.
