The NBA officially returns to Mexico City on November 7, 2026, when the Denver Nuggets host the Indiana Pacers in a highly anticipated regular-season matchup. Tip-off is scheduled for 5 p.m. ET (4 p.m. local time), marking the 35th NBA game played in the country since 1992. This event solidifies Mexico’s position as the most frequent host of NBA games outside the United States and Canada, with this specific contest serving as the 16th regular-season game and the 15th such event since 2014.
Key Match Highlights & Tactical Analysis
This fixture represents the fifth consecutive year the league has staged a regular-season game in Mexico, highlighting a sustained commitment to international expansion. The Nuggets-Pacers contest is one of five major international showcases on the 2026-27 NBA calendar. It sits alongside the NBA Canada Games on October 3 and 10, the NBA China Games on October 9 and 11, and the upcoming NBA Paris Game on January 14 and NBA Manchester Game on January 17. This dense schedule underscores the league’s strategic focus on global market penetration during the early and mid-season periods.
For fans tracking the international circuit, the Mexico City Game offers a unique opportunity to witness top-tier NBA action in a vibrant, non-traditional arena. With the league having hosted 19 preseason games in the country historically, the shift toward regular-season play signals a deepening engagement with the Mexican fanbase. As the 35th game in this long-standing tradition, the Nuggets versus Pacers matchup is poised to draw significant attention, blending competitive basketball with the cultural significance of the NBA’s most established international venue.
