Key performers for Maplewood included Lydia Slagle, who led the charge with 14 kills, supported by Bailey Moyer with nine kills and Lilly Stevenson with eight. On the back row, Taylor Jordan orchestrated the offense with 30 assists, while Lexy Potosky and Reese Stanford anchored the defense with 20 and 12 digs, respectively. In other district action, Cochranton’s Cardinals overcame an early deficit to defeat the Saegertown Panthers in a four-set thriller, winning 20-25, 25-13, 25-23, and 25-16. Maggie Jackson and Tessa Edwards combined for 27 assists to keep the Cardinals’ offense moving, while Karmyn Reese contributed 11 kills and Riley Gibbons recorded 15 digs. For Saegertown, Kendall Gregor was a standout with 34 assists and 13 digs, and Lily Muckinhaupt added 20 kills and six blocks, but it was not enough to stop Cochranton’s advance to the next round.
