In a seismic shift for WWE Monday Night Raw on November 2, 2026, Cruz Montana executed a devastating attack on Roman Reigns, effectively ending the Tribal Chief’s dominance for the night. The confrontation escalated rapidly after Reigns attempted to assert his authority over the ring, prompting Montana to strike with a powerful forearm that sent the head of the table crashing to the mat. This sudden betrayal marked a pivotal moment in the current storyline, signaling that the stability of The Bloodline is no longer guaranteed.
Key Match Highlights & Tactical Analysis
Following the physical altercation, Montana made a deliberate and symbolic move by walking to the corner of the ring and standing beside The 946, the faction that has long served as Reigns’ enforcers. By aligning himself with this group, Montana signaled a clear break from his previous role as a neutral party or subordinate, choosing instead to join the inner circle of power. This strategic positioning suggests a calculated power play, aiming to leverage the 946’s influence to challenge Reigns’ absolute control over the WWE locker room and the championship picture.
The implications of this turn extend far beyond a single episode of Raw, as it introduces a new layer of complexity to the ongoing narrative surrounding Roman Reigns. With a former ally now operating within the ranks of his own security detail, Reigns faces an immediate threat to his security and prestige. Analysts predict this defection will accelerate the storyline toward a major confrontation, potentially setting the stage for a high-stakes match where the hierarchy of The Bloodline is finally tested against the combined force of Montana and The 946.
