In a tightly contested field of 90 golfers, Munger’s victory hinged on precision and composure. He recorded three birdies during the round, with a critical stroke on Hole No. 4 serving as the tiebreaker to secure the win. This weekly GPAC accolade marks the second of his career, underscoring his consistency and ability to perform under pressure in high-stakes collegiate golf environments.
Beyond his individual triumph, the Tigers demonstrated solid team resilience, finishing 10th out of 17 squads in the final fall tournament. As the season transitions, attention now shifts to the spring schedule, which kicks off March 1-3 at the RMC Invitational in Henderson, Nevada.
