Josh Jacobs held himself accountable after making a crucial mistake in the Green Bay Packers’ 20-17 loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday afternoon.
The drop came on 3rd-and-5. Had he caught the pass, Jacobs would have scored a 17-yard touchdown and put the Packers up 24-17. Instead, the Packers brought out rookie kicker Trey Smack for a 35-yard field goal, which was partially blocked and ended up no good.
