Yuto Katsuragawa claimed his second DP World Tour title on Sunday, securing a two-shot victory at the Genesis Championship in Cheonan, South Korea. The 28-year-old Japanese golfer finished with a total of 13-under 271, effectively neutralizing the final-round charge from the French contingent. Although Katsuragawa played a more conservative even-par 71 on the final day, his commanding lead allowed him to absorb a tap-in bogey on the 18th hole without losing the lead.

The win extends Katsuragawa’s momentum following a remarkable third-round performance where he carded a flawless 8-under 63, tying the course record at Woo Jeong Hills Country Club. He held off Frederic Lacroix and Martin Couvra, who finished tied for second at 11-under 273 after shooting 68 and 69 respectively. The Japanese star’s ability to manage pressure in the final stretch proved decisive, as he maintained a comfortable cushion throughout the closing holes.
South African Casey Jarvis, who entered the final round in second place, faded to a tie for fourth at 10-under 274 alongside British Open champion Ryan Fox. Jarvis had been targeting a third win of the 2026 season to challenge the Race to Dubai leaders, but his 72 on Sunday kept him out of the top three. Eugenio Chacarra, the current Race to Dubai leader, finished seven shots back, while Patrick Reed and Rory McIlroy were absent from the field.
